With 3 championship rounds and a club event at St Eval the next month is an extremley busy one, with 4 events on succsessive weekends! We plan to compete at them all, although at present this is subject to getting the Marengo fixed in time!

The championship is tight, at present I'm in 2nd position and it looks like Grahame has the championship wrapped up this year, although I would like to make the gap as small as possible and try to maintain 2nd for our best ever result with Peter scoring a 3rd in 2004. Peter is currently 6th, although it is possible for him to take another third, if not 2nd, if we can pull out all the stops..... thats the aim.

Looking forward to the next few events hoping for some dry ones, and hopefully I can take some more records!

After the two engine blow ups of predannick and colerne we have decided that the Marengo 1 will not race again this season. Ruth and Peter were in action in the force at St Eval as i withdrew, and I'll be dual driving with Peter in the Force at Dunkeswell on Sunday. Ruth will be joining Peter in the force at the final round at Chivenor, although I'll still be entered, dual driving a suprise single seater in the same class! Watch this space.

Well Dunkeswell saw the bad luck carry on! Me and Peter completed the two practices with me leading the way just on a 56.63 with Peter on a 56.65! This showed alot of promise for me as I was still very much getting used to the car, and there was lots of time to come.

However after dad had completed his first run which was 56.53s, a solid effort, we noticed a rear upright faliure and had to immediatly withdraw. This meant I didn't complete a competitive run and therefore got no time or points. This leaves the door for second wide open for Ian Cameron or Peter Tudor.

I'm not happy with 3 retirements in a row.
