Red Mist Racing are attending Colerne Sprint this weekend with the following peliminary line up;
Peter Tudor - Force 11
Tim Tudor - Marengo 1
Ruth Tudor - Marengo 1
The Marengo has a new engine installed after the blow up at Predannick.
The current forecast looks extremly promising with sun and little to no cloud all day. Lets hope they have got it right for once! _________________ Tim

Colerne was dry all day, and first practice went without any dramas. I led the class by just over 0.5s on a 79.17 with some leary moments in the lap so plenty of time to come. Second practice saw me put in a good first sector time and I continued to push but under braking for the hairpin I had a full 360 hitting the track makers. I came in 4 seconds off dad as he put in a slightly slower run in the 80s. First run was supposed to be a banker but a great first sector (quicker than all of dads by 2 seconds from the day) saw me push hard for the remainder of the lap. I tried to take the last corner flat, and spun at 70+mph. I didn't hit anything but lot quite alot of time. Dad set a 78 and my time was in the 80s which was pretty good considering a full spin.... I was going to put in a banker on the last lap and whilst Ruth was taking her ever improving run the red flags came out. They were for her and it emergered that the R6 motor, newley installed for this event after blowing up the previous one at predannick, had also blown. Looks like a similar faliure, throwing a rod and punching a hole in the block. It's doubtful the Marengo will reappear this year. Dad went slower on his last run, but took the class honours as I didn;t get a chance for my last run (he may have beaten me anyway I guess...)
All in all a rubbish day for me, very frustrating. Ruth improved all day, and dads runs were consistant. _________________ Tim
